Η χρονιά τελειώνει, φίλες και φίλοι, κι αυτό σημαίνει ότι μπαίνουμε σιγά σιγά σε δύο κινηματογραφικά moods. Από τη μία, αρχίζουν οι λίστες με τα καλύτερα του 2023. Από την άλλη, αρχίζει για τα καλά η σεζόν των βραβείων που θα οδηγήσουν μέχρι τα Όσκαρ του Μαρτίου. Στο μεταξύ, η πρώτη στάση είναι οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών Χρυσών Σφαιρών.

Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο, το φαινόμενο Barbenheimer πέρα από τα εισιτήρια και τα memes σάρωσε και τις υποψηφιότητες Χρυσών Σφαιρών. Το Barbie της Greta Gerwig και το Oppenheimer του Christopher Nolan ισοψήφισαν με 8 υποψηφιότητες έκαστο (ανάμεσά τους και η καλύτερη κωμωδία και το καλύτερο δράμα αντίστοιχα). Όχι και άσχημα, θα έλεγε κανείς.

Έπειτα, ακολουθούν το Poor Things του Γιώργου Λάνθιμου και το Killers of the Flower Moon του Martin Scorsese (κι οι δυό τους επίσης υποψήφιοι για σκηνοθεσία) με 7 υποψηφιότητες το καθένα, ενώ μετά άρχεται το Past Lives της Celine Song με 5. Θυμίζουμε ότι φέτος έβαλαν και κατηγορία καλύτερης εμπορικής ταινίας, μπας και δει την τελετή κανένας άνθρωπος.

Όσον αφορά τις πλατφόρμες και τα στούντιο, το Netflix συγκέντρωσε 13 υποψηφιότητες και το ακολουθούν η Warner Bros με 12, και η Α24 και η Universal με 11 η καθεμιά. Στις τηλεοπτικές κατηγορίες προηγείται το Succession (αυτό τους έλειπε) με 9 υποψηφιότητες και ακολουθούν το The Bear και το Only Murders in the Building με 5.
